It's the night before I get my first studio space and meeting my fellow studio residents. I have been since December 28, starting my new life in a new city in a new decade. It. Is. Amazing.
My ship arrives in New York City.
Walking pass the Museum of Sex is Birch Coffee House, sharing space with a neat hotel. The architecture is amazing.
Inside a Chinese emporium, Chinese New Year is almost here.
I spent the first week going to Chinatown, eating dim sum and exploring the area, sometimes wandering into Little Italy.

I have seen three different fiddlers at the same station playing amazing erhu.
I attended a couple of improv shows at the People Improv's Theatre (the PIT)...
...after meeting up with my friend Jaqueline Fouasnon, who I have not seen in three years.
I met up with Ryan Rowlett (pictured here) and Richard Gamble, two former alumni of MCA currently living and working in NYC.
Lucy Poskitt, her cousin, Rachel Rolon and I went to Ad Hoc Art Gallery for their closing party.

There were many souvenirs available for people to take with them; I procured a couple of prints and some documents of their murals.
On Friday, I went to the Museum of Modern Art but I was a few seconds late getting tickets for the Tim Burton show. I decided to walk around anyway and see their photographic collection.

Hey, it's Pixy! Pixy is a photographer from Shanghai/Memphis and a graduate from University of Memphis. We went to Heteroscapes, photography from Bo Wang. That night, I met with Shen Wei, who has done this amazing series entitled Almost Naked.
Sundays, I have been invited by this amazing person named Sasha.
Here, I meet some amazing talents and creative people, such as Gregory, a fellow photographer.

Amy Hoppy has been my guide to New York and she initially invited me to the Sunday brunches.
